The Team
You will be joining a cross-institution group of researchers investigating the experiences of recovery following long-standing eating disorders. Bringing together individuals from York St John University, the University of York, and TEWV NHS Trust, we hope to explore these often underrepresented experiences.
The role
The role, reporting to the Principal and Co-investigators within the Department of Psychology, will contribute to design and delivery of the project. The candidate will be motivated to contribute to developing a nuanced understanding of recovery from eating disorders, and sharing this understanding with the community.
This role is at 0.55FTE from 1st September 2026 until 30th April 2027. Working pattern will be agreed with the successful candidate.
Required skills and experience
Candidates will have experience in mental health research and an appreciation for the role of coproduction in this area. They will be confident in independent working alongside being part of a collaborative team. Organisational skills and IT proficiency are essential. Experience in facilitating groups would be desirable.
