AJ Chambers are working with an established firm based in Camberley to place an aspiring tax Senior or Junior with their next opportunity.
The successful candidate will have strong and developing technical knowledge of UK tax legislation, together with experience managing a portfolio of personal tax clients within a professional services environment. They will demonstrate a commitment to continuing their technical and professional development.
The role would suit someone who enjoys working on tax planning opportunities and resolving technical queries, while collaborating closely with senior colleagues and wider team members in a supportive environment.
The successful individual will possess excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
Candidates who are part-qualified or qualified by experience will also be considered.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the compliance requirements for a portfolio of personal tax clients, including the preparation of personal tax returns, capital gains tax returns, and employment-related tax forms.
* Act as a primary point of contact for clients, building and maintaining strong professional relationships across a varied client portfolio.
* Support the delivery of proactive tax advice and assist with tax planning assignments, including areas such as capital gains tax, residency matters, and trusts, depending on experience.
* Continue developing technical expertise and maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant tax legislation and compliance requirements.
* Collaborate with senior colleagues and contribute to a supportive and knowledge-sharing team environment.
Development & Support
Study support may be available for individuals pursuing relevant professional tax qualifications, where applicable. Candidates with equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
