Location: Highland area; East Caithness Health and Social Care Team. Working with patients in their own homes as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care. Primary responsibility to support service users to maximise independence. The post holders need to be flexible and able to use their own initiative. High standards of patient care to deliver a high-quality service to the local community.
Responsibilities
* Provide support and assistance to service users to maximise and maintain independence.
* Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality home-based care.
* Demonstrate flexibility and use your own initiative.
Qualifications and requirements
* Experience not required, though beneficial. Full training provided. Opportunity to complete an SVQ in Health & Social Care.
* A driving licence is essential and applicants should have access to their own vehicle for work purposes. A pool vehicle is available for rural areas.
* Bank posts with set shifts: 7:00–11:00, 9:00–13:00, 7:00–14:00, 17:00–22:00 or as per service requirements.
* Eligibility note: This role does not meet the eligibility criteria for a Skilled Worker visa or a Health and Care Worker visa; NHS Highland cannot provide a Certificate of Sponsorship.
