BACKGROUND TO THE ROLE:
Redcentric has a broad portfolio of products and services, and a wide customer base sitting across multiple verticals. Our breadth of services helps us ensure we can provide a complete solution for our varying customer base but does add complexity into our messaging and content approach.
We are at the beginning of a transition phase for Redcentric, rebuilding our GTM approach with greater focus on verticals and customer relevance. This role will be a new hire for the organisation and is central in helping shape and deliver the future strategy, and growth ambitions of the business.
Working as part of a small but focussed team, and closely with colleagues across the business, this role is an opportunity to introduce a new approach to content and its vital role within the marketing mix, whilst directly contributing to the wider success and continued growth of Redcentric.
AIM OF THE ROLE:
The successful candidate will be responsible for development and execution of the content strategy, building on the current foundations to ensure the right message hierarchy and structure is in place from a brand, market and product/service level.
The primary focus of the role is to develop and drive the content strategy and outputs, ensuring we are effectively communicating with customers and prospects in a consistent and engaging manner across a wide range of channels.
This will be a hands-on role, working closely with Product, Digital and Campaign leads to ensure our messaging is supporting the wider marketing and business growth goals.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Duties will include, but are not restricted to the following -
* Owning the content strategy and the development of a content plan that provides the right balance of quality and quantity.
* Production of high-quality content across a wide range of channels including thought leadership, blogs, white papers, website and social media and others.
* Development and ownership of the brand TOV, driving a consistent voice across all communications.
* Project managing a central content calendar, working with key contributors both internally and externally, ensuring the right flow of material to support campaigns, ABM and always on activity.
* Working closely with partners to leverage their content, whilst ensuring Redcentric TOV remains central.
* Ensuring a robust review and revision schedule is in place to keep content as evergreen as possible, and fill gaps identified.
* Help develop sales enablement material, working closely with Product Marketing to ensure sales teams have the right tools to drive revenue.
* Close collaboration across the rest of the marketing function as well as bids, sales and product teams to produce high quality, converting messaging.

PERSON SPECIFICATION
The ideal candidate will be a proven Content Manager with a technology background. They understand it's role in engaging with customers throughout their entire lifecycle, with the ability to translate sometimes highly technical messages to resonate with a wide range of stakeholders and decision makers.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
* Ability to develop compelling narratives that speak to multi-stakeholder audiences.
* Expertise in creating and managing brand TOV, building materials and processes to ensure this is implemented across the organisation.
* Proven experience in developing differentiated messaging that highlights key benefits and addresses customer pain points.
* Experience of working in a multi-vertical organisation, with the ability to write for a wide range of audiences.
* Ability to objectively assess the impact of content created and continuously evolve style and structure.
DESIRABLE
* Understanding of the UK IT managed services market, including key trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape.
* Experience with core IT managed service offerings (e.g., cloud, cybersecurity, network management, IT support).

HOURS OF WORK
The Company's standard working hours are Monday to Friday 9.00 until 5:30pm with one hour for lunch.
