Your new role
In this role, you will lead the development, review, and implementation of statutory compliance documents, Safe Systems of Work, and compliance-related policies to ensure all hard services align with current legislation and best practice. Additionally, you will oversee compliance management activities including surveys, insurance inspections, testing, risk-based remedial works, statutory Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), and accurate certification/record keeping. As well as this, the role includes taking responsibility for statutory audits and quality inspections of third-party service providers, which you will conduct. The aim is to ensure contractor competence, identify risks, and drive continuous improvement in compliance standards.
What you'll need to succeed
As an experienced professional, you will demonstrate capability in the provision of technical leadership and expert advice on Building Services Compliance, covering key statutory areas such as fire safety, electrical systems, gas, lifts, ventilation, water, and asbestos management.
