In this role you will support the fee earners with financial management of matters and work towards the financial strategy of the firm.
Responsibilities to include:
* Preparing and analysing financial reports to support decision-making and compliance.
* Maintaining accurate billing schedules and financial records.
* Collaborating with fee earners, partners, supporting teams to ensure effective financial management of matters.
* Ensuring compliance with financial conduct requirements and maintaining confidentiality at all times.
* Producing regular progress reports for senior leadership.
* Attending financial meetings and providing proactive support to fee earners.
* Liaising with third parties and internal stakeholders to resolve billing queries and manage client accounts.
* Streamlining financial processes such as billing and payment management for client matters.
* Participating in ongoing training and professional development.
Qualifications
* Advanced level MS Excel user.
* Previous experience working in a similar role within a professional services environment is essential.
* Good financial discipline.
