CNC Miller Programmer Setter
Location: Atherstone
Salary: £30,000 to £35,000 per annum
Shifts: 7am to 5pm - Monday to Thursday
We are looking for a highly skilled CNC machinist to programme, set and operate our universal bed type milling machines with Heidenhain control system.
You will need to have a good understanding of 3 & 4 axis machining and have machined a wide range of materials including Stainless, Aluminium, Mild Steel and Cast Iron. You must also have some experience in machining medium to large fabrications and castings.
Knowledge & Skills:
_ Time served apprenticeship or a high level of experience in machining
_ Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and produce work to a very high standard
_ Demonstrate a thorough working knowledge of work-holding methods, tool selection and understand cutting parameters
_ Be flexible and reliable and keen to work as part of a team
_ Ability to work on your own initiative with minimal supervision
_ Previous experience in precision engineering/manufacturing is essential
_ Carry out own inspection
_ Work to high tolerances
About the Job:
_ Working on CME FS4 mainly
_ To cover holidays, you will be put on any one of the following MTE, Kiheung and CME FS4
_ When essential, you will utilize OneCNC
_ Majority of programming will be done from scratch at the machine
_ Small batch work (1 off's)
