We are currently recruiting for Pit Boss/Tunnelling Foreman to join our teams across the UK.
As the Pit Boss/Tunnelling Foreman, you will be required to:
* Coordinate and supervise the site's workers
* Ensure completion of work in accordance to the main contractor program and requirements
* Maintain progress and safety during works
* Assist tunnel engineers in ensuring temporary works installation is carried out properly and safety
* Ensure ring installation is carried out in accordance with planned sequence and safe manner
* Assist and support engineers in carrying out works as assigned and ensuring that the works are carried out to schedule and in accordance to relevant regulations
* Preparation and submission of site daily reports/progress
To be successful in this position, you must have:
* Tunnelling / Shaft experience /Mirco Tunnelling
* Relevant experience working as a Tunnelling Supervisor or Foreman
* Confined spaces
* Relevant CPCS qualification
