About the Job
This is a hands-on Management Accountant role, supporting the Finance Director and wider business with financial analysis, reporting, and planning. You'll play a key part in preparing accurate monthly accounts and maintaining strong financial controls across multiple branches.
Duties will include:
1. Producing monthly EBITDA figures and ensuring balance sheet support
2. Posting journals including accruals and prepayments
3. Delivering executive-level commentary and insights on financial results
4. Managing forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning processes
5. Reconciling general ledger accounts, bank transactions, and VAT
6. Overseeing daily and monthly stock reconciliations and investigating variances
7. Supporting the month-end close and audit preparation
8. Handling import declarations and preparing quarterly VAT returns
9. Collaborating closely with branch managers and the finance team
About the Successful Applicant
You will be an experienced Management Accountant with at least three years’ relevant experience, ideally within a fast-paced, multi-site environment. Strong Excel skills, excellent analytical abilities, and a solid grasp of financial reporting are essential. You must be UK-based and able to reliably commute to TW2.
