Windsor Forest Colleges group is looking for a Technician – Motor Vehicle to join our team at the Berkshire College of Agriculture campus on a full‑time permanent basis.
Role Details
The position involves working 37 hours per week on an all‑year‑round support contract and is paid on Scale G of the Support Staff Scale (G16 £24,098.00 up to G19 £26,784.00).
Key Responsibilities
* Support practical teaching and learning through demonstrations, instruction, and supervision.
* Assist in the induction of students and help lecture staff with practical demonstrations and instructions.
* Prepare equipment and materials for lessons and maintain a safe learning environment.
* Conduct risk assessments, ensure maintenance and servicing of all equipment and machinery, and manage supplies, parts, and consumables.
* Keep practical learning areas clean and organized.
* Participate in events such as parent evenings, recruitment, trade events, and open days, contributing to the college’s marketing efforts.
* Promote a discrimination‑free environment where students and staff can express individuality safely.
Qualifications & Experience
* Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject area.
* Level 2 English and maths.
* Experience working in a workshop‑based environment.
