NJC grade 5, £26,824 - £29,540 fte, actual term time salary £23,074 - £25,410

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated individual with a passion for helping students overcome challenges and achieve their potential. The successful candidate will be an Interventions Lead Teaching Assistant, working with SEND, vulnerable, or disadvantaged students to raise aspirations and support the acceleration of their academic progress.
This role involves a range of academic support duties, including:
* Developing, delivering, tracking, and evaluating learning activities and interventions outside of the classroom, such as literacy, numeracy, social and communication skills, and emotional regulation interventions.
* Assisting with the development and implementation of individual education or behaviour plans.
* Evaluating, measuring, and reporting on the impact of structured programmes of intervention to the SENDCo.
* Liaising with external agencies to develop intervention programmes.
* Parent/carer liaison.
* Working as an in-class teaching assistant for approximately half of the working day.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced teaching assistant or mentor with a track record in delivering and monitoring intervention programmes. They will have a motivational approach, effective communication and interpersonal skills, and a commitment to fostering a supportive and encouraging learning environment. Experience of working with SEND students or vulnerable groups within an educational setting is essential.
