What You’ll Do
* Review and analyse business and functional requirements to create clear, structured test plans and cases.
* Execute tests across multiple platforms (web, mobile, desktop, API).
* Identify, document, and track defects using tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, or TestRail.
* Perform functional, regression, integration, UAT, system, and exploratory testing.
* Collaborate with developers, analysts, and project managers throughout the development lifecycle.
* Participate in requirement reviews and sprint planning to provide QA insights.
* Assist with test data creation and environment setup.
* Provide detailed test execution reports and communicate progress to stakeholders.
* Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and standards.
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
* 2+ years’ experience as a Test Analyst, QA Tester, or similar role.
* Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
* Experience with defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, Zephyr, Azure DevOps).
* Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
* High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in agile or waterfall environments.
Desirable:
* Experience testing APIs (Postman).
* Familiarity with SQL and database validation.
* Exposure to automation tools (Selenium, Cypress).
* ISTQB Foundation Level certification or equivalent.
