The Role
We are seeking a part time Housekeeper to work solely to service the requirements of the Headmaster and his family at their large house located in a corner of the school campus. Normal working days will be Monday, Wednesday and Friday for 3 hours per day (start and finish times are flexible but must be between 08:30 and 15:00); a total of 9 hours per week (all year round).
As well as day to day cleaning and general upkeep of the family home, duties will also include making beds/changing linen; laundry and ironing for the family; periodical cleaning of appliances; organising waste and recycling; arranging dry cleaning; reporting repairs and monitoring cleaning supplies. Good attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness are key.
About You
Applicants must be able to meet the physical requirements of the role, be trustworthy, conscientious, organised, show initiative, as well as confident in working without supervision. Knowledge and experience of cleaning in private homes and operating cleaning equipment and materials will be an advantage.
