Job Overview: LEV Technician
We are seeking a skilled and passionate LEV (Light Electric Vehicle) Technician to join our team at Mubea, a leading design-manufacturer of four-wheeled cargo bikes. Our Cargo Service Team ensures that our innovative e-cargo bikes are delivered and maintained to the highest standards.
As an e-cargo bike technician, you will play a key role in maintaining and repairing electric-assisted bicycles and related project equipment. This intermediate position is an excellent opportunity to expand your automotive engineering expertise within a growing and dynamic industry.
Responsibilities:
* Conduct routine preventative maintenance inspections at customer sites to ensure fleet reliability.
* Diagnose and repair four-wheeled electric bicycles with a focus on:
* Hydraulic brake system checks and maintenance
* Chassis and suspension repairs
* E-Drivetrain servicing, including troubleshooting
* Perform pre-deployment checks to ensure bikes meet safety and performance standards.
* Provide friendly, professional customer service with clear and effective communication to clients and team members.
* Maintain an organized, clean workspace, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly cared for and in working order.
* Support inventory management by tracking parts usage, reordering supplies, and ensuring stock availability.
* Accurately log all maintenance, repair, and service activities in fleet management software for tracking and compliance.
* Collaborate with the team to improve service processes and share technical knowledge.
Experience:
* Intermediate knowledge of bicycle mechanics, with proven ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and reassemble complex systems such as suspensions, chassis components, and driveshafts.
* Experience working with hydraulic brake lines, axle bearings, power junctions, and motor controller software.
* Comfortable with physical tasks such as lifting heavy objects (25–30kg), bending, and working in varying environments.
* Proficiency with power tools and automotive equipment; ability to use diagnostic tools effectively.
* Familiarity with fleet management software and service tracking platforms is a plus.
* Bonus: Experience in sales, customer service, or client-facing roles.
