About the role
Reporting to the Curriculum Manager, you will:
* Deliver engaging, high‑quality teaching and assessment across a range of equine theory and practical units, including riding, coaching, business, yard management and behaviour.
* Inspire and motivate learners with differing abilities, ensuring a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment.
* Act as a personal tutor, providing guidance, monitoring progress and supporting students’ personal, academic and employability development.
* Contribute to curriculum development, quality improvement activity and external awarding organisation processes.
* Work collaboratively within a high‑performing team to continuously enhance the student experience.
About you
You will be highly organised, student‑focused and bring recent, relevant industry experience. You will ideally hold a degree or professional qualification, with a BHS Stage 3 or 4 Instructor qualification, and either hold or be willing to work towards a recognised teaching qualification. You will have:
* Strong experience in riding instruction and coaching across a wide range of abilities.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a calm and supportive approach.
* A clear understanding of student welfare, safeguarding and high standards of health and safety when working with horses.
* Confidence in using digital tools, including Microsoft Teams, to enhance teaching and learning.
