Electrical Project Manager – Electrical - South Wales £50,000 - £55,000An established electrical contractor operating across Wales and the South West is looking to appoint a Project Manager to support a growing pipeline of work across multiple live schemes.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Electrical Project Manager or a Senior Electrician / Site Manager ready to step into a full project delivery role.You’ll be responsible for managing projects from handover through to final completion, taking ownership of delivery, commercial performance, programme and client relationships.The RoleYou will take full responsibility for the successful delivery of electrical projects, including:Managing projects from pre-construction handover through to final handover and defectsOverall control of programme, procurement, labour, cost and qualityFull understanding of drawings, specifications and contract requirementsProducing programmes, procurement schedules and technical submissionsManaging procurement of materials, plant and subcontractor packagesNegotiating with suppliers and subcontractors to achieve best valueManaging site teams and site managers, including roles, responsibilities and performanceFull responsibility for health & safety on site in line with HSE and company proceduresManaging subcontractor compliance across H&S, quality and installation standardsAttending and leading client and main contractor meetingsMonitoring progress and reporting monthly to the businessSupporting commercial processes including applications, CVs and identifying riskManaging commissioning, coordination of trades and final testingDelivering project handover, O&M manuals and as-fitted documentationCoordinating client training, soft landings and defect close-outWhat We’re Looking ForQualifications & ExperienceQualified ElectricianExperience delivering electrical projects (all levels considered)SMSTS preferred (training available for the right person)Estimating or commercial exposure beneficial but not essentialFull UK driving licencePersonal SkillsStrong organisational and time-management skillsExcellent attention to detailSolid technical and electrical knowledgeConfident communicator with clients, subcontractors and internal teamsCommercial awareness and negotiation skillsDiligent, reliable and proactive approach to project deliveryPackageFull-time PAYE positionCompetitive salary (dependent on experience)Performance-related bonus schemeCompany vehicle33 days holiday including bank holidaysOpportunity for further training and career developmentLong-term progression within a growing business
