Business & Executive Support Team provides a centrally led business support administrative function aligned to meet the requirements of Staffordshire County Council and the evolving needs of the organisation.
This position is within the Health Care & Events Team, supporting various service areas including Adult Social Care & Health and Corporate Events and Training.
This is a fixed-term role until 31 May 2026.
Main Responsibilities
Some of your responsibilities will include:
* Providing support and assistance to managers across Health Care & Corporate Training Services
* Supporting and servicing events for internal and multi-agency stakeholders
* Accurately inputting and maintaining internal systems, including client information, training software, and daily use of MS Office 365
* Completing administrative and customer care tasks, ensuring compliance with processes and SLAs
* Maintaining Service Inbox, handling queries, signposting, and taking appropriate actions
* Liaising with internal and external customers to develop good working relationships and engagement
The Ideal Candidate
The role requires flexibility to support the wider Business and Executive Support Service when needed, providing opportunities to develop skills across various work areas.
We are looking for you to have:
* Administrative skills and experience supporting a high-quality Business Support service
* Ability to take accurate and concise minutes for multi-agency meetings
* Excellent communication skills to engage with internal and external customers and teams, using digital solutions to improve processes
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changes quickly
* Good IT skills, particularly with MS 365 software
* Experience with relevant Information, Privacy, and Data Security policies
