About the role
Henley Morgan is recruiting an Odoo Project Manager in Edinburgh for a fast-growing Edinburgh-headquartered scaleup running their entire global operation on Odoo. This is an in-house, end-user Odoo Project Manager role – not an agency or partner role – owning the Odoo product roadmap, internal Odoo implementation projects, version upgrades and continuous-improvement portfolio across Finance, Inventory, Manufacturing, eCommerce and HR. Key responsibilities
* Own the in-house Odoo product roadmap and quarterly release backlog across Odoo Accounting, Inventory, Manufacturing, eCommerce, POS, HR and Recruitment modules
* Lead end-to-end Odoo implementation, upgrade and rollout projects across UK, EMEA and US entities, managing both internal Odoo developers and external Odoo Gold Partner resources
* Run discovery and requirements workshops with finance, operations, supply-chain and customer-experience stakeholders, translating business goals into a prioritised Odoo backlog
* Manage Odoo project governance – RAID logs, steering committees, budget tracking, vendor SoWs and change control
* Define Odoo testing, training and cutover plans and own go-live and hypercare for major Odoo releases
* Champion Odoo best practice internally – upgrade-safe customisation, OCA modules and clean release management
Skills and experience required
* Demonstrable experience as an Odoo Project Manager, ERP Project Manager (Odoo / OpenERP) or Senior Odoo Functional Consultant moving into PM
* Proven full-lifecycle Odoo implementation track record across at least 2–3 Odoo projects (Odoo 16 / 17 / 18)
* Strong functional knowledge of core Odoo modules – Accounting, Inventory, Sales, Purchase, Manufacturing and eCommerce
* Confident project management skills, ideally with PRINCE2, AgilePM, Scrum or PMP certification
* Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to lead non-technical finance and operations leaders through Odoo change
* Eligible to work in the UK and able to attend the Edinburgh office on a hybrid basis (typically 2–3 days per week)
Desirable / nice to have
* Odoo certification on Odoo 16/17/18
* Previous in-house ERP / Odoo experience (rather than partner-only)
* Exposure to Odoo Manufacturing (MRP), POS or eCommerce themes and Website Builder
* Experience working with Odoo Gold Partners and OCA community modules
