What you will do
Our Van Centre based in Tipton is currently looking for a qualified Van Technician Supervisor with excellent diagnostic and mechanical skills to work a set shift. Working 45 hours per week, Mon-Fri 07:30–17:00 with alternate Saturday mornings. Pay is around £45,000 dependent on van technical skills with supervisory experience. Flexibility will be required.
Key Responsibilities & Tasks
* Supervise the shift technicians and coordinate workload
* Liaise with the Van Centre Manager regarding shift staff, training needs, KPI s, etc.
* Diagnosis and repair of vehicles
* Servicing of vehicles to a high standard
* Participation in call-out and breakdown rota, if/when required
* Ability to use diagnostic equipment
* Carry out scheduled safety inspections and report any rectifications required
* Complete job cards clearly and accurately
Essential Qualifications and Knowledge
* Electrical and mechanical skills and experience
* Good understanding of H&S issues in a workshop environment
* Clean driving licence – HGV would be an advantage
