About This Role
The Web Foundations team is the backbone of how we develop, integrate, and release customer‑facing web applications at JET. In this role you will own and contribute to the full engineering lifecycle, building core frameworks, optimizing CI/CD pipelines, and implementing system architecture that enables domain teams to ship new features.
Key Responsibilities
 * Own and contribute to the entire engineering lifecycle across the full stack.
 * Build core frameworks and integrations, including the customer website using NextJS, React, Node, and Module Federation.
 * Optimize CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and maintain observability with DataDog & Sentry.
 * Engineer serverless features using AWS Lambda, SQS, SNS, and Cloudflare Workers.
 * Improve developer experience by maintaining pipelines, processes, and tools.
 * Monitor and ensure platform performance and reliability.
 * Stay current with industry standards and advocate best practices.
 * Document and share knowledge within the engineering community.
 * Location: Hybrid – 3 days a week from our Bristol or Berlin office and 2 days working from home.
What You Will Bring
 * Background as a web/automation engineer with expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern frameworks.
 * Ability to work across the full stack from front‑end to back‑end and automation.
 * Quality‑focused mindset with practical testing experience.
 * Attention to detail and ability to decompose complex problems.
 * Collaborative attitude with remote engineers and stakeholders.
 * Constructive feedback skills for Pull Requests.
