You’ll be joining a reputable accountancy practice based in Somerset, known for its strong client relationships andmitment to professional development. The firm works with a wide range of clients, including SMEs, partnerships, and sole traders, offering a supportive and collaborative environment.
Your new role
As a Semi-Senior Accountant, you will assist in preparing accounts for a varied client portfolio, support senior team members withplex assignments, and begin taking ownership of smaller jobs. You’ll gain exposure to bookkeeping, VAT returns, and management accounts, while developing your technical skills and progressing toward full qualification.
What you'll need to succeed
1. Part-qualified ACA/ACCA or AAT Level 4 (or equivalent experience)
2. Previous experience in an accountancy practice environment
3. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
4. Goodmunication skills and a proactive approach to learning
