We are looking for a performance-driven strategist to take accelerate Staycity Group’s direct-booking growth ambitions by setting the paid-media vision, orchestrating all paid media channels—search, metasearch, social ads and retargeting, and optimising all efforts to maximise ROAS and direct-booking share. You will translate commercial goals into an agile acquisition roadmap that prioritises profitability, tests new channels and markets, and continually sharpens our competitive edge. You will blend performance marketing experience with forward thinking strategy to design – and continually optimise – plans to turn potential guests into happy bookers. Guide and set relevant KPIs focused on growing direct web share Market & trend insights: Focus on trend and growth analysis within the sector, continually implementing new tactics and strategies Identify, and plan for, opportunities in new geographical markets as well as any potential new channels Monitor AI-driven search experiences and emerging traveller behaviours. Produce regular ‘future of performance media’ documents and prioritisation recommendation briefings for leadership. Budget strategy & management – plan budget scenarios with strategic guidelines for optimisation. Reporting & forecasting: Own the paid funnel dashboard, monthly forecast vs. budget, and as well as attribution modelling in concert with Analytics. Provide and present reports and forecasts regularly to senior stakeholders Unified paid strategy – allocate budget dynamically across Google Ads, Hotel Ads, Meta/Facebook, TikTok, display and affiliate placements, optimising to CPA & ROAS goals Always-on optimisation – run bid strategies, audience tests, creative multivariates; respond in real time to market demand and algorithm updates Metasearch leadership – own CPC and commission bidding on TripAdvisor, Trivago, Kayak etc.; exploit price-parity insights to win direct bookings Develop and support B2B strategy – Identify opportunities and develop a plan to support B2B opportunities Agency & tool management – brief and QA external partners for day-to-day ops while keeping strategic decisions in-house Landing-page alignment – collaborate with Organic Growth Lead and CRO specialist to ensure ad destination pages convert and support shared keyword clusters Essential experience & skills 6-8 yrs multi-channel performance marketing in travel / e-commerce Proven experience in scenario-based planning creating multiple channel-mix scenarios to inform proactive engagement, budget planning and conversion rates Geographic portfolio management that plans for dynamic nuances in local markets B2B integration, enablement and sales generation Proven experience of successful marketing reactive strategies and plans Insight and strategy leadership that includes reporting, presenting and cross-functional collaboration Expert user of Google Ads (incl. PMAX & Hotel Ads), Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads, Advanced Excel/Sheets & BI skills; familiarity with MMM or data-driven attribution models Track record of managing >€1 m budgets and delivering double-digit ROAS Strong stakeholder management and experience directing agencies/freelancers Desirable Experience with Meta Search bidding (Tripadvisor, Trivago, XX), OTA bidding programs (Booking.com Ads, Expedia TravelAds) Power BI, SQL or Python for deeper analytics Start your Staycity Group journey today!
