As part of a dynamic and high-performing organisation, you'll take the lead in producing precise and competitive estimates for large-scale renewable energy projects across the UK, with a focus on cutting-edge battery storage infrastructure.

What You'll Do
* Prepare accurate electrical estimates for battery storage and other renewable energy projects.
* Review and interpret technical drawings and specifications to scope and price works.
* Engage with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain the best commercial outcomes.
* Conduct material and labour take-offs and compile comprehensive Bills of Quantities.
* Support tender submissions and provide commercial insight during bid processes.
* Apply value engineering principles to enhance project competitiveness.
* Collaborate closely with design and delivery teams to align estimates with project objectives.
* Keep estimating tools and cost databases current and relevant.
What You'll Bring
* Solid experience estimating large-scale electrical infrastructure or BESS projects.
* Strong understanding of electrical systems and renewable energy technologies.
* Experience with contestable works up to 400kV is highly desirable.
* Familiarity with UK electrical standards, DNO specifications, and grid connection protocols.
* Excellent numerical and analytical abilities with a sharp commercial mind.
* A proactive, detail-focused approach with a commitment to accuracy and deadlines.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and estimating tools.
