Overview
Oracle ERP Cloud Project Manager (Contractor) at Version 1. We transform businesses through Oracle Cloud ERP delivery and drive digital transformation across the UK and Ireland. This role leads strategic change, manages Oracle Cloud ERP/HCM/EPM projects, and contributes to enterprise success with strong stakeholder engagement.
Responsibilities
* Successfully managing the delivery of Version 1’s Oracle Cloud ERP/HCM/EPM projects.
* Collaborate with customers to confirm scope, goals, objectives, and business justification; secure resources (people and budget).
* Lead and oversee progress of project plans in alignment with time, cost and quality targets.
* Manage customer expectations and monitor/mitigate scope creep.
* Define Change Requests, obtain customer sign‑off before work commences.
* Assist the customer project manager with monitoring tasks and progress of customer activities.
* Report progress to the Steering Group/Sponsor and Version 1 senior stakeholders; escalate issues as needed.
* Continuously assess risks and issues; monitor decisions and communicate them.
* Monitor project budget and ownership for P&L targets.
* Lead an effective project communication strategy and identify inter-dependencies among stakeholders to ensure alignment and risk mitigation.
* Ensure appropriately skilled resources are delivering the project and manage consultant availability/performance.
* Travel to customer sites as required and permitted.
* Assist in pre-sales and business development opportunities.
Qualifications
* Experience implementing Oracle ERP Cloud projects end to end.
* Delivery and implementation experience in a consultancy/systems integrator environment.
* Proven ability to lead and deliver multiple projects concurrently.
* Project Management experience delivering complex Oracle Applications projects using Oracle AIM and OUM methods.
* Prince 2 or similar, Microsoft Project, and governance skills (Gate Control, Status Reporting).
* Scope management, stakeholder management, negotiation and strong written/verbal communication across all levels.
