With the continuing success of our civil and infrastructure team, we now have an exciting opportunity for a Structural Engineer or Structural Designer to join us, helping to complement our consultancy services and widen our project coverage to an ever growing list of repeat client work.

We specialise in delivering comprehensive design packages and assessments including a full in house design package, including civil infrastructure, structural engineering, utility designmanagement,civil groundworks, land surveying and site engineering services. Based at Dedham, the team works from a rural office in an area of outstanding natural beauty,avoiding the busy commute into the surrounding towns.

About the Role:
As our Structural Engineer, you'llprovide detailed structural engineering designs, calcs and structural analysis. Collaborating with project teams to develop design solutions, helping to mange clients and projects with technical advice. The role is office based, with regular site visits for compliance, design specs and project delivery.

What You'll Do:
* Producing design solutions from initial concept to completion,ensuring structural projects are completed on time and within budget
* Design and analyse structures usingAutoCAD, Revit, and SAP2000.
* A good working knowledge of TEKLA TEDDS, TSD
* Ensuringstructures are safe, innovative and meet all relevant codes and standards
* Working with Architects, Contractors, and Engineers to ensure that designs are feasible and meet project requirements
* Prepare technical reports and design information for clients, site meetings and visits
You’ll be a skilled Structural Engineer with a background in structural engineering and post qualification experience gained with a local consultant, developer or contractor design team. Degree or HND level working towards a professional membership, locally based in the Essex or East Anglia region.

* Competitive Salary: £36,000 - £47,000 pro-rata to reflect your experience and qualifications.
