Salary: £27,207 - £28,586
Reports to: Monitoring and Evaluation Manager
Contract Type: full-time or job share, fixed term until 31st August 2026 with possible extension, subject to funding
Location: Remote (UK-based)
Start Date: as soon as possible
Role overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated Monitoring and Evaluation Officer to join our Monitoring and Evaluation team. The postholder will support the design, delivery, and evaluation of projects that aim to improve understanding and provision for children with speech and language challenges. The role involves contributing to both qualitative and quantitative research, supporting evaluation processes, and providing organisational support for meetings, including recording and following up on action notes.
Key Responsibilities include:
* Work closely with the Monitoring and Evaluation Manager to assist in the design and delivery of monitoring and evaluation projects.
* Collect, manage, and analyse data using both qualitative methods (e.g., interviews, focus groups, thematic analysis) and quantitative methods (e.g., surveys, descriptive and inferential statistics).
* Support the preparation of research tools such as questionnaires, interview schedules, and evaluation frameworks.
* Contribute to the development of reports, briefings, and presentations for internal and external audiences.

* Has experience of data collection and analysis including the use of statistical software
* Has experience of using qualitative and quantitative evaluation methods
