Role Overview
Advancements in the world of e-commerce have resulted in a shift in packaging requirements, focusing on protection, reverse logistics and speed through the packaging operation. Our client’s profitable growth strategy involves expanding their online sales team to strengthen their position in the UK market and work with more customers.
Responsibilities
You will manage the entire sales process, from identifying leads through to closure. This includes understanding customer needs, collaborating with designers and product teams to deliver the best solution, proactively reaching potential customers via multiple channels, maintaining accurate information in the customer database, and optimising the sales process for lead‑conversion effectiveness. After building relationships, you will serve as the primary point of contact for all customer queries and support the team’s goal of delivering world‑class service in a fast‑paced environment.
Qualifications
* Strong entrepreneurial drive, curiosity and willingness to innovate and disrupt existing models
* Experience with inbound and outbound call campaigns
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
* Experience in a similar role within an e‑commerce merchant environment
* Experience working with large product‑scope databases, requiring a high level of organisation
* Experience working with technical products and B2B customers
* Knowledge of the packaging market, ideally with prior experience working for a packaging merchant
