We're proud to be partnering with a climate focused charity to recruit a proactive bookkeeper to support the organisation during a busy time. This is a full time role on an initial 1-year fixed-term contract, which can be fully remote.
As the bookkeeper, your role will include.
* Processing purchase invoices, ensuring they are correctly logged on the finance system.
* Processing weekly payment runs to ensure all payments are made on time.
* Managing and filing supplier invoices.
* Creating and Posting journals.
* Processing bank reconciliation.
* Communicating relevant information regarding invoices to relevant staff.
* Managing the mailbox and escalating queries.
The ideal Bookkeeper will:
* Ideally, be part of or fully AAT-qualified.
* Be experienced in purchasing ledgers.
* Be self-motivated and able to work independently.
* Be organised with the ability to prioritise and meet tight deadlines.
