Rodenhurst School provides individualised SEN education within a tailored therapeutic learning environment specialising in SEMH needs for up to 15 pupils.

Key Responsibilities:
* Provide strategic leadership and direction to the school, ensuring high standards of teaching, learning, and care
* Lead and support a skilled multidisciplinary team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous development
* Ensure compliance with safeguarding, SEND legislation, and all regulatory requirements
* Champion inclusive education and the individual needs of every pupil
* Work closely with parents, carers, local authorities, and external agencies
* Develop the school's vision and long-term strategy in line with our values
* Identify problems and barriers to school effectiveness, and develop school improvement plans that are realistic, timely, costed and suited to the school's context
* Monitor progress towards achieving the school's aims and objectives
* Manage financial resources appropriately, efficiently and effectively
What We're Looking For:
* Proven leadership experience within an SEN setting
* Strong knowledge of SEND legislation and inclusive teaching practices
* Excellent communication, team-building, and organisational skills
* A compassionate, child-centred approach and a commitment to positive behaviour support
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and leadership qualifications (e.g., NPQH) desirable
What we offer:
* Salary: up to £55,000 per annum

Additional Information:
* Full time Permanent; Monday to Friday
* 37.5 hours per week, term time plus 5 inset days
* Pay 40 weeks, plus 12 weeks holiday pay, totalling 52 weeks, annualised and paid in 12 equal monthly payments
