With acclaimed titles on mobile and Meta Quest as well as a global community, they're dedicated to creating immersive, emotionally charged experiences that captivate players and push creative boundaries.
The Role
They are looking for a Head of Content to lead their global content strategy — from ideation to production to performance. You’ll oversee all creative output across social, influencer, and marketing channels, ensuring every video, post, and campaign hits the tone, humor, and virality that defines the company's brand. This role is both creative and strategic — you’ll lead a small but powerful team of editors, videographers, and social media managers to make the company the most talked-about name in gaming entertainment.
What You’ll Do
Creative Leadership & Strategy
* Define and own the company's global content strategy across short-form, long-form, and cinematic content.
* Oversee production of all social, gameplay, and promotional content across YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and beyond.
* Maintain a consistent brand voice and tone across every title and platform.
* Build and refine content pipelines to support daily, weekly, and campaign-based output.
* Manage and mentor the social media manager, videographer, and other content producers.
* Collaborate closely with marketing, partnerships, and game teams to align content with major updates, launches, and brand moments.
* Lead creative brainstorms, develop briefs, and approve final content for publishing.
* Ensure projects are completed on time, on budget, and to the company's creative standard.
Performance & Growth
* Set KPIs for all content (views, engagement, CTR, watch time, conversion).
* Review analytics weekly to identify top-performing content and iterate on winning formats.
* Stay ahead of platform trends, viral moments, and emerging creator styles.
* Build and maintain relationships with major platform reps (YouTube, Meta, TikTok) to unlock early opportunities and features.
Production Oversight
* Supervise shoots, editing, and post-production workflows for high-end trailers, short films, and community content.
* Develop creative storylines, series concepts, and campaigns that tie directly to our games and audience culture.
* Oversee brand partnerships and crossovers to ensure creative alignment and high production quality.
Qualifications
* 5–8 years of experience leading content or social teams in gaming, entertainment, or creator-led media.
* Proven ability to build and scale high-performing content teams across multiple platforms.
* Deep understanding of gaming culture, memes, and social storytelling.
* Strong creative direction skills — able to review and refine scripts, edits, and final cuts.
* Data-savvy: you use analytics to inform creative strategy and content direction.
* Excellent communicator and leader with a “hands‑on” creative mindset.
* Based in London or New York City (hybrid role with in‑person collaboration).
* Experience working with creators, influencers, and community-driven brands.
* Background in both organic and paid content strategy.
* Knowledge of VR, mobile, or UGC gaming platforms (Meta, Roblox, Fortnite, etc.).
* Strong network in content, production, or creator communities in UK/US.
