Job Overview
We are looking for qualified Mental Health professionals who are looking for their next career step. This position is open to applicants with experience at Band 5 or above (or the equivalent for social workers). Experience in perinatal mental health care will be an advantage but we have excellent training and supervision processes in place to support staff where needed.
Responsibilities
* Demonstrate a genuine interest to work with women during the perinatal period.
* Be provided with specialist perinatal, parent‑infant interventions training and supervision to develop specialist knowledge to be able to work with this client group.
* Maintain excellent clinical skills and confidence and enthusiasm for working with perinatal partner agencies in networks that extend beyond traditional specialist mental health boundaries.
* Provide service to the community during operating hours Monday‑Friday 9:00 am‑5:00 pm, with flexibility to work occasional extended hours to facilitate service effectiveness.
* Possess a car driver licence (car driver essential).
Qualifications
* Qualified Mental Health professional with experience at Band 5 or above (or the equivalent for social workers).
* Experience in perinatal mental health care (advantage).
* Excellent clinical skills and confidence.
