Interior Design BA (Hons), Product Design BA (Hons) and Product Design Technology BSc (Hons) have launched an exciting new curriculum at UWE Bristol with collaboration and cross disciplinary learning at its core. We are looking for a Senior Lecturer with a specialism in Interior Design to lead modules and teaching for the Interior programme. You’ll have experience in teaching or industry practice in Interior Design.
About You
You’re qualified to postgraduate level (or near to completion) in a relevant subject, hold a higher education teaching qualification and HEA Fellowship, or a commitment to achieve these within two years of appointment.
You’ve got a track record of inspirational teaching in higher education, or be able to demonstrate equivalent industry experience, and will make a significant contribution to course teaching activity at undergraduate level. You can demonstrate subject knowledge and experience in Interior design.
You will have a wide variety of skills related to interior design disciplines and have experience in the delivery of the teaching of these skills in higher education.
You will have a broad range of experience in teaching, research, and professional practice, active networks and strong contacts with local and national agencies and demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills enabling the development of effective working relationships with students, staff, and external partners (industry and educational; regional/national/international).

UWE Bristol is a campus-based University, with vibrant campus communities that are central to student life.
In this role, you’ll be based at our City Campus in Bristol city centre which comprises of Bower Ashton Studios, Arnolfini, Spike Island and Watershed and is home to UWE Bristol's creative and cultural subjects.
You’ll spend most of your time on campus with the occasional opportunity to work from home.
