A large, inclusive secondary school in Redditch is looking to appoint a dedicated Attendance Officer to join its pastoral support team from January 2026. The Role Attendance plays a central role in student achievement, and this position is key to ensuring pupils are safe, engaged and supported. You will work closely with Heads of Year, safeguarding staff and families to monitor and improve attendance and punctuality. Duties include: Daily monitoring of attendance and punctuality First-day absence calls and follow-up communication Maintaining accurate attendance records Producing reports for pastoral and leadership teams Supporting attendance meetings and interventions The School This is a well-led school with a strong pastoral structure and clear safeguarding procedures.
