Job Description: Senior Designer, Bristol, Full-time, £65,000–£75,000 per annum We're seeking an experienced Senior Designer to join our client's design and technical team in Bristol. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a competitive salary of £65,000 to £75,000 per annum. The role is ideal for a confident, self-motivated professional with deep technical knowledge in AutoCAD and Revit, particularly within roofing and cladding design projects. You'll be instrumental in delivering high-quality design outputs aligned with MCS Standards and BIM protocols, while mentoring junior staff and driving improvements in departmental processes. Key Responsibilities * Produce 2D drawings and 3D Revit models for construction and client use * Prepare material schedules and technical documentation packages * Oversee project documentation to ensure BIM compliance (ISO19650 / PAS 1192) * Manage document portals, including BIM360, for uploads and submittals * Lead design coordination meetings and issue RFIs where required * Review team outputs for quality assurance and compliance * Assist in the production and monitoring of project programmes * Support the Design Manager in mentoring junior team members * Contribute to tender documentation for future bids * Drive continuous improvement through template development and process enhancements Requirements / Qualifications * Significant UK experience in roofing and cladding design * Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and document management systems * Strong understanding of rainscreen, composite and built-up systems * Familiarity with BIM standards and 3D modelling workflows * Demonstrable ability to manage own workload and meet project deadlines * Working knowledge of Revit and BIM360 (desirable) * Project management experience and ability to lead technically complex projects Benefits * Company pension * Sick pay * Staff training and upskilling opportunities * Team development culture with regular knowledge sharing * Involvement in technically rewarding projects with career growth potential £65,000–£75,000 per annum
