Overview
I am seeking an Assistant Manager to join our Spalding branch soon to be opening in Lincolnshire.
Previous experience of this type of work and the automotive aftermarket is a must. Managerial staff are an important part of the business. This is a skilled position requiring good knowledge of vehicles, vehicle parts and accessories, previous experience within the trade is important.
Requirements
* Previous experience within the motor trade spares industry essential
* Good communication skills/Excellent telephone manner
* Good all round knowledge of automotive parts, and suppliers
* Computer literate
* Willingness to learn new systems and achieve targets on sales, driving licence essential (must be aged 25 or older for insurance purposes), we seek an all rounder not afraid of getting on with the job
* Lead and manage daily operations of the branch to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
* Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets and enhance customer experience.
* Supervise, mentor, and motivate branch staff to maximise performance and professional development.
* Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
* Build strong relationships with customers, addressing their needs and concerns promptly.
* Collaborate with other departments to align branch activities with overall company objectives.
* Manage inventory levels and oversee the maintenance of branch facilities.
Experience
* Proven experience in a managerial role within the automotive trade is a MUST.
* Strong knowledge of sales principles, automotive spares and parts.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Demonstrated ability to lead teams successfully while fostering a collaborative atmosphere.
* Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on achieving results.
