MCS Group is exclusively recruiting on behalf of Translink for a Project Manager Renewals (Civil Engineering). This opportunity is offered on a fixed term contract until November 2026 and based in Belfast.
The role:
You will be responsible for managing a wide range of civil engineering projects from inception through to closure. Project types include permanent way (track), structures (bridges, earthworks and sea defences) and environmental (vegetation management) on the railway network and will include complex, multidisciplinary projects as well as minor works.
Essential Criteria:
* Degree, or equivalent, in Civil Engineering or relevant Construction related subject
* Minimum 3 years' experience in managing civil engineering projects
* Experience in managing construction contracts
* Proven experience in managing project budgets and schedules
* Experience of using MS Word, Excel and Outlook
* Previous experience in leading project teams and managing internal and external stakeholders
* Full current driving licence and access to a vehicle to meet the requirements of the post in full
* Able to work at weekends/nights/bank holidays (Which may include Easter, Halloween or Christmas) and as your projects may require
