As a Software Quality Engineer, you’ll support the delivery of safe, secure, and high-performance systems used in critical global environments.
Responsibilities
* Identify and analyze the Product contract requirement
* Ensure the quality of a specific product considering technical and contractual requirements
* Monitor product quality validation
* Monitor the proper execution of product verification and testing actions
* Support the WFP in relation to specific technical aspects (HW, SW) on the specific product, in particular in qualification and certification activities
* Assess projects for compliance with software development plans and processes
* Provide independent software assurance support to the development, verification, validation and release of software, verifying it is in accordance with the contracted and company standards
* Participate in software maturity reviews and lifecycle reviews
* Create and maintain software quality assurance plans in accordance with contractual conditions and company standards
* Estimate software quality assurance resources required to support projects
* Supporting the assessment of the ability of subcontracted companies to perform software development to required standards
* Performing software conformity reviews and supporting physical/functional configuration audits
* Verify the release of deliverable software
Qualifications
* Comprehensive understanding of quality management systems and standards such as AS9100 and ISO 9101.
* An Airborne software background, with good working knowledge of software standards RTCA/DO-178C, AS9115, and AQAP-2210.
* Experience of working in a high‑tech engineering & manufacturing environment, ideally within the aerospace and defence sector.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to influence others at all levels of an organization.

An additional range of Personnel Security Controls referred to as National Security Vetting (NSV) may apply, this could include meeting the eligibility requirements for The Security Check (SC) or Developed Vetting (DV).
