About the Role
Personal Assistants (Support Workers) have the most important role within Enable, making a positive difference every day to the lives of the people we support. No two days are the same, but you will support a person who requires help to achieve their goals and outcomes – whatever they may be.
Each individual we support has different support requirements. Your role as a Support Worker may include:
* Assisting with personal care and hygiene
* Moving and handling assistance
* Providing positive behavioural support
* Expanding social networks and connections
Enable creates a bespoke team around every individual, and our Personal Assistants work collaboratively to ensure safety, wellbeing and the aspirations of the people we support are met.
About Harry
Harry is a fun‑loving, sociable person who enjoys walking, being in nature, arts and crafts and watching quiz programmes with a cup of tea. His family is very important to him, and he needs his family and support staff to operate as one big team to support him fully.
Harry’s ideal personal assistant is someone who can confidently support him to continue doing the activities he loves and be proactive at suggesting things he may like to do.
About You
We are looking for individuals who share the same interests and have a commitment, dedication and a desire to support Harry to get the most out of life.
You don't need prior experience in care to start your social care career with us. We recruit based on your values and transferable skills. Wherever your journey has taken you, we will forge a new path together.
