Are you an experienced Tax Advisor looking for a new role within a thriving Private Client department?
This role will play a key part in our firm’s ambitious growth plans to double in size over the next five years. If you want to be part of a firm where you can make a significant impact, this is the perfect opportunity for you!
This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly skilled team that collaborates with a diverse portfolio of clients, delivering expert support in cash extraction planning, capital gains tax, and the taxation of trusts and estates. You will also be responsible for managing your own portfolio of clients as well as supporting junior staff.
In this role, no two clients or days will be the same, making it ideal for a tax advisory expert eager for a new challenge at a top 12 accountancy firm.
The ideal candidate will possess an ATT/CTA qualification and have at least 2 to 3 years of advisory experience, particularly with high-net-worth individuals. We are looking for someone passionate about providing tailored solutions and navigating complex tax landscapes to help clients achieve their financial goals.
The important work you will be doing:
* Oversee a portfolio of private client tax returns, including trusts, estates, partnerships, and high-net-worth individuals
* Identify tax-saving opportunities to optimize clients’ tax positions
* Work with the tax partner and senior manager to provide tax planning and advisory services related to inheritance tax, capital gains tax, and income tax
* Review personal, trust, and estate tax returns, and other work prepared by junior staff
* Supervise and mentor junior staff
The skills and experience you will bring:
* ATT, CTA, or ACCA Qualified
* 2-3 years working in advisory
* Strong technical understanding of tax
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
