Multi Skilled Engineer (Electrical Bias)
CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real‑estate management. We are recruiting a Multi Skilled Engineer (Electrical Bias) to join the team located in Dunfermline, Bristol, and Derby.
The job purpose is to carry out planned preventative maintenance, reactive works to building plant, equipment and systems in accordance with agreed service levels, undertake small installation works and respond to site engineering emergencies.
Key Tasks
* Ensure that routine maintenance is carried out on all electrical and mechanical systems to meet and exceed expectations and agreed service level agreements.
* Carry out reactive repairs on all systems as required, calling relevant sub‑contractors as appropriate.
* Carry out all PPM maintenance as per the instruction set provided within Concept.
* Report all PPM defects via the client defect process and liaise with the supervisor of defect requirements.
* Ensure weekly equipment reports are updated with any change in status of equipment.
* Liaise with sub‑contractors for repairs or quotations, monitor performance of sub‑contractor personnel and ensure works are undertaken correctly and the work area left in a satisfactory condition.
* Sign off completed PPM and reactive tasks via your PDA in line with client policies and procedures in a timely manner.
* Present a professional image of CBRE to clients and visitors and promote excellence in customer service.
* Establish and maintain a good working relationship with the client representative and client personnel.
* Ensure a safe and healthy working environment and comply with all company policies, procedures and client site arrangements.
* Accurately maintain the site logs and associated paperwork.
* Be part of the call‑out rota if applicable.
* Understand and maintain all systems on site.
* Liaise and work with other trade engineers to ensure electrical issues on all systems are attended to and resolved within SLA agreements.

Person Specification
Skills
* A good basic education is essential, with good written and spoken English and basic mathematical skills.
* Recognised Electrical Qualification.
* C&G 18th Edition in Electrical Installations.
* C&G Test and Inspection.
Knowledge
* Good knowledge of various building electrical systems and working to planned preventative maintenance regimes.
* Current and relative knowledge of BS in relation to electrical systems on site (emergency lighting, fire alarm, power, BMS, etc.).
Experience
* Previous working with structured PPM delivery.
* Experience of working with business‑critical equipment.
* Working within a customer‑focused role.
* Previous experience within a health and safety led role.
* Experience of electrical systems management and paperwork.
Aptitude
