We are working in partnership with well-regarded secondary schools in the Daventry area, who are looking to appoint inspiring Science Teachers from September 2025. These roles are available on both long-term and permanent contracts, offering excellent progression and development opportunities.
Whether you're a specialist in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics-or confident across all three disciplines-these schools are seeking teachers who can motivate students and build their curiosity and confidence in Science.
Role Responsibilities:
Teach Science across Key Stages 3 and 4 (opportunities for KS5 in some schools)
Plan and deliver engaging, practical, and inclusive lessons that promote scientific thinking
Use assessment data to inform planning, identify gaps, and support student progress
Promote a love for Science and encourage students to explore real-world applications
Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment activities within the Science department
Foster a safe and purposeful learning environment, in line with school policies
Ideal Candidate:
Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent
Confident teaching Science across the secondary age range
Strong subject knowledge in Biology, Chemistry and/or Physics
Skilled in classroom management with a commitment to positive behaviour strategies
Passionate about STEM education and promoting engagement in Science
Suitable for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs)
