Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursery Room Leader/ Junior Manager to join our team. You will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the nursery room and ensuring the well-being and development of the children in your care. This is a leadership role that requires excellent communication skills, a passion for early childhood education, and the ability to effectively manage a team. Responsibilities:
* Drive the implementation of the nursery's curriculum and ensure it aligns with early childhood education standards - Communicate effectively with parents, providing regular updates on their child's progress and addressing any concerns or questions - Create a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development of each child - Supervise and support nursery staff, providing guidance and feedback to ensure high-quality care is provided at all times - Plan and organize age-appropriate activities and experiences that encourage learning through play - Maintain accurate records of children's attendance, development, and any incidents or accidents that occur - Collaborate with other room leaders and staff to ensure smooth transitions between rooms and effective communication across the Nursery recommendations: Fluent in English (verbal and written communication) - Previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting - A recognized qualification in early childhood education or a related field is preferred - Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team - Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously - A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development - Ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues We offer competitive pay rates based on qualifications and experience.
