Principal People are working with a well-established Aggregates organisation that is seeking a Health and Safety Advisor to support two of their sites over the next 12 months, providing operational health and safety support to the business and sites.
This is a flexible, hybrid role requiring coverage on both sites, with occasional visits to the Head Office located in Hampshire.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct site health and safety inspections
* Support ongoing health and safety improvements at the sites
* Assist management teams in safety matters
* Update relevant safety documentation
* Review Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS)
* Address any health and safety failings on site
What We're Looking For:
* Minimum NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate, or equivalent
* Experience in risk management within Construction, Aggregates, Heavy Plant, Quarrying, Waste Management, Engineering, or Logistics
* Experience in managing plant, machinery, and site traffic
* Willingness to work part-time (3 days per week)
* Comfort with a multisite role
* Strong communication skills, capable of liaising at all levels
