Role: Internal Sales Executive / Branch Assistant
Location: Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire
Hours: Monday to Friday: 8am - 5pm
Salary: up to circa £37K + very negotiable depending on experience + bonus
Overview:

We are recruiting on behalf of a highly respected industrial, mechanical and electrical distributor known for its expertise and reliability.

Responsibilities:
• Answer the telephone, taking enquiries and orders plus processing, responding to and chasing quotes and orders
• Assisting customers with quotations, product information and pricing queries
• Maintain and develop existing and new customers through appropriate propositions and sales methods, to optimise quality of service, business growth and customer satisfaction/loyalty
• Undertake proactive call outs to dormant account holders and seek potential new accounts
• Serving customers at the trade counter
• Warehouse duties
• Van driving on an ad hoc basis
Skills/experience:
• Telephone or customer facing sales experience in an electrical or mechanical business selling into industrial customers eg engineering companies, factories, quarries etc.
• Ideally an understanding of motors, bearings, belts
• A proactive and flexible approach to work
• Confident telephone manner
• Good I.T. skills
• Full UK Driving licence
