Job Title: HR Business Partner
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an HR Business Partner to join our People Resources team. We are seeking individuals with a creative mindset, innovative approach, and the ability to work in partnership with managers to transform business areas and generate new ideas. The role requires a commitment to succeed in a challenging environment and involves shaping an organization that values self-development, partnership, innovation, and workforce planning.
As a key member of the BP team, you will support the business partnership model, ensuring the best people solutions are identified to meet strategic outcomes. Your responsibilities will include implementing HR strategies, managing projects, and leading change initiatives. Building influential relationships with senior managers and gaining their confidence is essential.
The role also involves workforce talent identification, succession planning, and addressing HR issues to improve organizational and individual effectiveness, with a focus on workforce planning.
Qualifications required include a degree/Diploma or equivalent, or willingness to work towards it. Membership of CIPD or eligibility for it is preferred, with a willingness to undertake MCIPD. You should have substantial HR experience, knowledge of Employment Law, HR policies, and business systems. Strong communication, influencing, and negotiating skills are essential.
Travel throughout North Lanarkshire Council area is required.
