An exciting opportunity has arisen at Whittlefield Primary School for a Level 3 Teaching Assistant Apprentice to join our hardworking and dedicated team. The successful candidate will provide high quality learning opportunities and support that develop the whole child. The postholder will share our values-based approach to education, which enables pupils to acquire a wide range of knowledge and skills. Under the guidance of the class teachers, the apprentice will be involved in working with children to support the education, personal, and social development of pupils and establishing positive relationships to assist in structured learning activities. Duties may include supporting learning activities, producing learning resources, and assisting in the development of skills that support pupils’ learning.

The successful candidate will be expected to work towards and complete the apprenticeship standard for a Teaching Assistant Level 3, and will be supported with induction and internal on-the-job training in their role. Please note that continuation after the apprenticeship is not guaranteed and will depend on available budget and business needs at the time.
