Pay & Hours
We offer a rate of £12.71 and a working week of 39 hours over 5 days a week, Monday to Sunday. We are open to discussing flexible working hours to accommodate your needs where we can.
Job Role
As a Shop Supervisor you will work alongside a hardworking team preparing fresh ingredients and producing sandwiches, baguettes and other food products in line with our company standards, whilst providing excellent customer service and selling high‑quality fresh food. The successful candidate will be trained to Wenzel’s company standards and be eligible for future progression.
Key Responsibilities
o Greet customers and create an inviting experience.
o Receive and check daily deliveries.
o Assist with the management of branch stock and produce.
o Maintain shop displays.
o Have excellent knowledge and understanding of products.
o Prepare food in line with the specification.
o Control food and produce quality.
o Maintain the highest level of hygiene, cleanliness and food safety standards.
o Work efficiently within a team.
o Handle cash and operate the till.
o Open or close the shop when required.
o Run shifts at various times during the week.
o Drive sales and minimise wastage.
o Previous experience in a retail or customer service environment at a supervisory level is required.
o Experience in food production is advantageous but not essential; full ongoing training will be provided.
