The Role Contractor, Human Resources (UK Office) Key Accountabilities Partner with Group HR to manage and execute full spectrum of HR activities including recruitment, performance management, training and development, compensation and benefits, vendor management and employee relations; Facilitate Group HR to implement and localize any globally mandated HR policies and procedures to support the business development; Manage payroll, pension and benefits administration to ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements and internal company policies; Monitor local HR regulation changes and understand the up-to-date HR market practice and propose enhancements to our existing policies as appropriate. Administrate the employee handbook and HR policies; Work closely with Compliance department to ensure all relevant staff are processed in accordance with Senior Manager Regime requirements and other relevant regulations; Prepare analysis reports for Group HR and management review as required; Involve in recruitment process from advertising, interview arrangement, candidate selection and onboarding. Responsible for visa application and liaison with legal representatives for any company HR-related issues; Update job description for the UK office on annual basis; Provide HR advisory services to the business stakeholders in the delivery of people related activities. Facilitate the resolution of employee relations issues; Manage and/or participate in HR related projects; Manage the general office administration, such as health and safety, fixed asset management, procurement etc. Skills & Experience Well rounded experience across a range of HR disciplines (compensation and benefits, business partnering, employee relations, recruitment, etc). Competent with payroll process and benefits administration would be an advantage; Minimum 5 years as a HR generalist with a solid track record in financial industry; University degree qualification; Well versed with UK employment legislation and related Financial industry regulatory requirements; Experience in coordinate HR topics remotely with international offices; Ability to work independently in a highly regulated financial industry/ environment; Ability to multi-task, prioritize and establish deadlines to ensure that business needs are consistently met; Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with internal and external parties.
