Key Responsibilities
o Lead, motivate and develop a team of production operatives
o Ensure production schedules and daily targets are achieved
o Monitor and report on KPIs
o Maintain training records and skills matrices
o Conduct appraisals and manage attendance and performance
o Support recruitment and onboarding
o Drive Lean manufacturing, 5S and continuous improvement activities
o Ensure quality and production documentation is completed accurately
o Investigate production issues and implement corrective actions
o Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Maintenance and Planning teams
o Manage effective shift handovers
o Promote a positive and high-performing team culture
Health & Safety Responsibilities
o Ensure compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental policies
o Carry out risk assessments and address hazards
o Promote safe working practices and PPE use
o Maintain a clean and organised work environment
What We're Looking For
o Previous experience as a Shift Leader, Production Supervisor or Team Leader
o Strong manufacturing or production background
o Experience managing KPIs and production targets
o Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, Continuous Improvement and 5S
o Excellent leadership and communication skills
o Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
o Hands-on and proactive approach
