This permanent role offers the opportunity to teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering exciting and engaging lessons that equip students with vital culinary skills and knowledge. Key Responsibilities
Teach Food Technology across KS3 and KS4
Deliver engaging, practical lessons focused on nutrition, cookery, and food science
Use assessment data to guide planning and support pupil progress
Maintain a safe and organised food preparation environment
Promote healthy living and a love for cooking
Contribute to department development and enrichment activities
Qualifications and Experience
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching Food Technology in a secondary setting
Strong practical skills and knowledge of nutrition and safety procedures
Excellent classroom management and communication
ECTs welcome - full induction and mentoring available
A passion for food, creativity, and hands-on learning
